Our Saddened Farewell to a Friend and Mentor Billy Mays
Even though our time with Billy was short, he will forever be remembered. He was the most caring, generous and humble person you could meet. During the week that we were fortunate enough to spend with him, we learned and laughed. We watched in awe of the friendship that he had with Sully. Billy and Sully had a bond you don’t see often; we felt they were so close, they clearly complemented each other.
Our heart goes out to Sully for his loss of such a wonderful friend. We pray for his wife Deborah, his son Billy, his daughter, all of his family and close friends. Billy’s eyes sparkled when he talked of his family. When he showed us pictures of them he was bursting with pride and love.
After spending time with Billy we came home and loved seeing him everyday in his commercials. We would stop, watch and say out loud (or silently to ourselves) Hi Billy! Even though we won’t ever talk to him again his voice, advice and wisdom will live eternally within us. Billy, you always said that you were taught by some of the best Pitchmen ....... but we will forever be grateful that we met The Greatest Pitchmen, Billy Mays!
Thanks for believing in me. When you look down I hope I make you proud!!!

Coleen and Mitch
